Careers

Be ambitious and expand your horizons - It’s your journey.

Whether going on to a great university, securing an apprenticeship, or entering the workplace, we want every young person who leaves a Creative Education Trust school to have real choices in life. That is why, as well as academic excellence, we seek to ensure that we provide the best possible careers education support and guidance and unique extra-curricular opportunities for every student to discover what else they’re good at.

How the school measures and assesses the impact of the careers programme on pupils

  • Through Pupil Voice – regular MS Forms are created to ask for student feedback and also face to face feedback sessions.  Results are then analysed for continuous improvement.

  • Through anaylsed data of log interactions through unifrog

  • Each Creative Education Trust school will regularly review their careers provision using the Compass Plus Tool.

  • On behalf of its member schools, Creative Education Trust has annual agreements with Future First to manage the electronic platform for the alumni network and deliver careers events in schools; and with Unifrog to provide careers information, case studies, employer and university interviews and webinars and advice to ease students’ access to their next learning provider.

The Baker Clause is a requirement the government places on schools which stipulates that they must allow colleges and training providers access to every student in years 8- 13 to discuss non-academic routes that are available to them. Please see our Provider Access Policy below:
